Emmanuel Baptist Church has a heart for young people! We strive to help young people accept Christ as their Savior and encourage them to grow spiritually as they are involved in Christian ministry (I Timothy 4:12). Our young people have a great time as they get to know and experience God personally on a daily basis. Our youth ministry is based on the Biblical principles of holiness, separation, and service for Christ. In addition to a Sunday School class for teens that is relevant to the world they live in, listed below are a few of the opportunities that Emmanuel's young people experience:
Meet each Wednesday night at 6:45pm and includes a time of fun, fellowship, Bible teaching, and opportunities to apply what they learn.
Regular youth activities give our young people a unique chance to reach the unsaved for Christ as they enjoy strengthening godly friendships while having a great time.
Our summer camp program at The Wilds in North Carolina and other occasional overnights and retreats give our young people the opportunity to get away and to focus on allowing God to work in their lives.
Of course, our young people are always encouraged to be involved in various Christian ministries in the church such as singing in the choir and children's ministry.
