What We Believe

In the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Bible, that it is inerrant in the original writings and that it is of supreme and final authority in faith and life. II Timothy 3:16, 17.

In one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, 20; II Corinthians 13:14.

That Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26-38.

That man was created in the image of God and, through unbelief, sinned and fell and that the entire human race shared in his sin and is lost and depraved by nature. Genesis 2, 3; Romans 3:9-18, 23; Romans 5:12.

That Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. Isaiah 53:5, 6; II Corinthians 5:21; I Peter 2:24.

In the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us as high priest and advocate. Matthew 28; Acts 1:8 - 11; Hebrews 7:25.

That salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace alone, is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that this faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is manifested in works pleasing unto Him. Ephesians 2:8, 9; Romans 10:9, 10, 13.

In the personality of the Holy Sprit, that He regenerates, indwells, energizes, and empowers to Godly living and spiritual service, and that the believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit from the moment of faith in Christ and is also privileged and commanded to be filled with the Spirit. John 16:13-15; I Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 5:18; Romans 8:9.

In the personal, visible, bodily, imminent, pre-millennial, and pre-tribulational coming of Jesus Christ in the air to catch away His bride (the invisible church), after which comes the tribulation and then His second coming in glory and power with His church to establish His millennial reign, bind Satan, and judge the nations. I Thessalonians 4:16-18; John 14:2, 3; Revelation 19, 20.
